What Is an American Job Center?

American Job Centers are publicly funded offices, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, that offer free job search help, resume support, career advice, referrals to training and services for employers. Thousands operate across the country, sometimes under state names such as Workforce Solutions. Call ahead, because services and opening hours vary.
